All About Vaudeville!

vitalvaudeville: (Jodie Edwards) Butterbeans (July 19, 1895- October 28, 1967) and Susie Hawthorn Edwards (1896-1963)- Comedians, Musicians, Actors and Vaudevillians, this duo performed and made it big in African American Theater, starting prior to their interest  in vaudeville in the 20’s until the 50’s. They were most inspiring for using their fame to help influence younger black comedians to dream big and to not give up.
